A group of white South African farmers in South West Africa are kidnapped by a terrorist group coming from across the border. Captain Caprivi is tasked with organizing a squad to rescue them.

The series is about Pinky, a young boy who wants to be a pirate under his idol, Captain Sabertooth -the King of the Ocean. Together with Ravn, Pinky's best friend, they try to get his attention and prove that he's worthy of becoming one of his men.

When Captain Sabertooth and his men arrive on the mysterious island of Grail, they are warned by the sorceress Miriam of Grail that the island's ruler, the Count of Grail, is evil and wants to replace Captain Sabertooth as king of the sea.

When Kaptein Sabeltann and his men land on the mysterious island Gral, they are warned by the sorceress Miriam av Gral, that the lord of the island, Greven av Gral (the Count of Gral), is cruel and mad, and would like to replace Kaptein Sabeltann as the king of the sea.
